To enhance our design and test laboratory capabilities, we are looking for an experienced lab technician to join our growing interdisciplinary team. As a Lab Technician, you will be involved in a wide range of activities in our labs and ensure that procedures, prototyping, and test stands are operational and effective. The areas of responsibility include:

• Populate, debug and test PCB(A)s; build and test cable harnesses with state-of-the-art technology
• Building up, evaluating and documenting verifications and tests for single and multiple use medical devices
• Setting up and commissioning of standardized test rigs for functional and electrical safety tests
• Carrying out standard tests in an electronics laboratory
• Logging of test results with standard data processing programs
• Documenting and reporting in English
• Assist in the maintenance of laboratory and storage facilities
• Technical incoming inspection of components

WHAT YOU OFFER

• Training in a electronics-related profession, e.g. as an electronics technician for devices and systems
• Experienced in handling of electronic, electrical, and mechatronic testing equipment such as multimeter / oscopes and similar
• Experience of prototyping and testing PCBAs, stand development, troubleshooting and failure analysis, and working with laboratory procedures and equipment
• Experience with performing standardized single and serial testing under strict adherence to defined test procedures following norms and standards is a plus
• Experience in test automation with Python/LabVIEW and ECAD (Altium) is an advantage
• Good MS Office skills
• Communication skills in English and German
