Senior IC Design Expert – Ultrasound

OneProjects is a start-up based in Dublin (Ireland) and Munich (Germany) developing cutting edge innovative imaging technologies to significantly advance healthcare and solve global unmet clinical needs. With creativity, passion, and focus, we apply our best-in-class engineering and design capabilities to create new hardware, software, and data science technologies.

To drive our platform development, we are looking for an experienced Senior IC Design Expert and creative team player to join our growing team. As a Senior IC Design Expert, you will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting high quality and high-performance analog, mixed-signal and photonic application specific integrated circuits for our disruptive medical imaging system. You will play a critical role in a startup environment and become part of a dynamic group of innovators, shaping the future of imaging in healthcare.

You collaborate with us to solve challenging problems ranging from modeling and simulating analog and mixed-signal IP blocks to mask layout and performance characterisation. With your experience you lead the architecture and integration of our ASIC components into the overall product and therefore work closely with our MEMS, electronics, optics, software and mechanical teams. You love adapting existing solutions and finding new solutions based on actual data. You are proficient in developing testing methods for characterizing IC components to ensure our products meet the relevant requirements and applicable standards. You will develop new architectures and circuits in areas such as Data Converters, Precision Circuits and Sensor Interfaces. In this role, you will regularly interact with development partners, suppliers and sub-contractors to drive technologies that enable new MEMS-based digital Imaging catheters, diagnosing engineering issues as you go, driving to definitive root cause and corrective actions.
